I just read a report that there's little hope anything major will be accomplished at COP15 and will be blogging about it. Apparently industrial nations still want to do the minimum, and the issue has gotten so big that there's a sense of overwhelm, that more time is needed for a detailed treaty. Well, time is of the essence here. WE are the ones who can drive leaders to visibility and committed action. Otherwise big business and governments who listen too much to it is just going to beat around the bush, until...well, we won't go there. True words Miruh. We have to be vigilant about what we eat, the products we use, how much we drive and the choices we make for vacationing etc. Until we become more pro-active in cutting back on our consumerism lifestyle, and boycott businesses that are not green, we cannot expect co-operations to clean up their act.
