Nneka, please jump for joy for having this access! You're getting the 'loco' or blank look because the mainstream paradigm is firmly locked in accepting as real only what the senses & the intellect tell us is so. And the significance of such experiences is also missed. This is because there isn't an eternal perspective.

Imagine what our society & world would be like if more of us were able to relate to each other & the universe at large in a meaningful, understanding way. Where other is honored because we know the One too.

"I am the bubble, make me the sea."

Oh my God Pamir! This is exactly what some of my meditations feel like. But sometimes now I can do it while I am cognizant during the day. It is truly amazing to access. I thought I was weird because I tell people these things and they don't say to me, "I've had the same experiences." They give me a look that says you've lost it and they say the words, "That's really neat."

How can I say? At the beginning of my meditation I say I'm going to meditate for 30 minutes. Then I sink into meditation and the I is lost. I am a part of a soup (I use the analogy of the ocean). At the end of the 30 minutes something would shift me out of it. Either by saying it's time, or I'll just shift out. When I first started meditating, I was localized in the soup, now I'm not afraid and I just move about, separate, or melt into it.

The funny thing is, now I can be in the soup while being completely awake and alert. I could locate another consciousness in the soup and I can have their experiences. Sometimes now I have the experience where I'm doing something in my living room, but I'm completely aware and present in another space doing something completely different - as if I am living multiple realities at the same time.

Has any of this ever happened to you?
