Thank you both Pippa & Liara. I'm going to look into those authors & books. Earthsea was made into a movie which we enjoyed.

I just love reflecting on the impact of children's stories and children's literature. I think of The Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. LeGuin and Enid Blyton books in particular at this moment. The books we read shape our minds.

Youth literature is the absolute, magical best, in my humble opinion! I have also discovered Joseph Delaney's "Spook" series, which makes for wonderfully suspenseful reading, about a young boy who is apprenticed to the local "Spook", a hunter of dark things.

May you have many an hour of happy reading with your son, Pamir. It is one of the best ways of bonding.
