To love and give yourself unconditionally enables you to rediscover the meaning of "the All." We are feel connected to it, but our understanding of this is buried deep beneath the surface. To peel the layers of our emotional onion enables us to remind ourselves of the truth we sense inside ourselves.

I agree Meredith both about our purpose here being the sharing & display of Love, and that raw materials have inherent beauty; we chip away all that isn't our true nature. Thanks for reminding me--I'll carry this all day.

Here's a poetic rendition of the same truths by Paramahansa Yogananda:

The Divine Sculptor

Let every beat of my heart be a new word in my endless love lyric to Thee. May every sound from my lips carry secret vibrations of Thy voice. Let my every thought be bliss-saturated with Thy presence.

May every act of my will be impregnated with Thy divine vitality. Ornament with Thy grace my every concept, every expression, every ambition.

O Divine Sculptor, chisel Thou my life to Thy design!

I've heard it said that for Michelangelo, the job of the sculptor is to free the forms that were already inside the stone. He believed that every stone had a sculpture within it, and that the work of sculpting was simply a matter of chipping away all that was not a part of the statue.
And so it is with Love...as we 'chip away' at all that is not Love (namely, Fear in its many permutations, IMHO), we can reveal more and more that we which we truly are! Manifesting in the world, the Love that is inherent within us, is essentially our purpose here.
Peace, Meredith
